Privacy notice (draft)
This text is a draft prepared for counsel. It may change before it is final.
This is a draft under legal review and may change. It explains in plain words how this website and the coordinator handle information.
This website
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no scripts, fonts or other content from third parties. It has no forms and does not collect or store personal data about you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site; we do not use this data to identify you.
When you contact us
You can contact us by phone, WhatsApp or, when it is shown, email. These happen through your phone provider, WhatsApp and your email provider. Their own privacy policies apply to what they handle, and we do not control them. Please send only the service name in your first message, and no medical details or files, until the coordinator explains how records are shared.
How the coordinator handles information you share
- Purpose. We use what you share to arrange and provide the service you asked for, and to answer your questions.
- Minimum necessary. We ask only for what is needed for that purpose.
- Not sold. We do not sell your information.
- Access limited. Access is limited to the people who need it to arrange or provide your care.
- Retention. How long we keep information is still to be confirmed, and this notice will say so once it is decided.
Your rights
Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 gives people rights over their personal data. In draft wording, these include asking what we hold about you, asking us to correct it, and asking us to stop using it or to delete it, as the law allows. Tell the coordinator what you would like and we will explain how we can help.
Online accounts
Online accounts, including “Sign in with Google”, are not active. If we introduce them, this notice will be updated before they start.
Questions about privacy
To raise a privacy question or concern, call or message the coordinator.
In your first message, send the service name only. Please do not send medical details or files until the coordinator explains how records are shared.
Medical emergency
For a medical emergency in Egypt, call the ambulance on 123. Do not use this website or messages to us for urgent help.
