Medical emergency in Egypt? Call the ambulance on 123. TeleCure does not provide emergency care.

See a doctor remotely, and have home care arranged when you need it

TeleCure connects you with a doctor by video or phone, and helps you understand reports and results you already have. When you need to be seen in person, we arrange a doctor visit, nursing or tests at your home in Greater Cairo through HomeCure, our sister service. Tell the coordinator what you need. They confirm the right service, the timing and the full price before you agree.

In your first message, send the service name only. Please do not send medical details or files until the coordinator explains how records are shared.

What we can help with

Remote first, in person when needed

A remote consultation is a good place to start for many questions. A doctor cannot examine you through a screen, though. If something needs to be felt, heard, measured or tested in person, the doctor will say so, and the coordinator can help arrange a visit or a test at home, or advise you to go to a clinic or hospital.

What remote care cannot do

Remote care is not for emergencies, cannot include a physical examination, and does not replace the doctor who treats you. Read what remote care can and cannot do.

From Egypt and across the region

You do not have to be in Egypt to consult a TeleCure doctor. Patients across the Middle East and North Africa, and further afield, can have a remote consultation, a second opinion on their reports or follow-up with doctors licensed in Egypt, in Arabic or English. Read what to know if you are outside Egypt.

How it works

  1. Tell the coordinator what you need

Call, or send a WhatsApp message with just the service name. Please do not send medical details yet.

  2. Confirm the details before you agree

The coordinator tells you who will see you, how (video, phone or at home), the timing, the full price and what it includes, and how your records are shared.

  3. Consultation or visit, then next steps

After the consultation or visit you receive advice on what to do next. That may be a follow-up, a home service, or a recommendation to be seen in person.

Arranging care for someone else

You do not have to be the patient to get in touch. Many families arrange care for a parent or relative, including from abroad. The patient’s agreement matters, and the coordinator will explain what is needed. Read the guide for families.

Common questions

Is TeleCure for medical emergencies?

No. TeleCure does not provide emergency care, and messages to us are not watched for emergencies. In a medical emergency in Egypt, call the ambulance on 123.

Does sending a message or pressing a button book an appointment?

No. A call, a message or a click never confirms an appointment. The coordinator confirms the service, the time and the full price with you first, and you agree before anything is arranged.

Do I need an account to use TeleCure?

No. You can contact us by phone or WhatsApp. Online accounts may be offered later.

Can I get a prescription?

That depends on the doctor's judgement and on what is permitted. The doctor will advise on next steps, which may include an in-person examination, tests or a prescription where appropriate. We cannot promise one in advance.
