Arranging care for a parent or relative
Many requests come from a son, daughter or relative arranging care for someone else, sometimes from abroad. You can contact the coordinator for them. The patient’s agreement matters, and the coordinator will explain what is needed.
In your first message, send the service name only. Please do not send medical details or files until the coordinator explains how records are shared.
If your relative is in danger now
Call the ambulance on 123 in Egypt. If you are abroad, ask someone near your relative to call 123 straight away. TeleCure does not provide emergency care.
How to start for someone else
Call or message the coordinator and say which service you are asking about, for example “Remote consultation”. Please do not send medical details yet. The coordinator will explain the next steps and what they need from you and from the patient.
Agreement and consent
An adult patient agrees to the consultation and to who receives information about their care. If they cannot agree for themselves, tell the coordinator. The coordinator will explain what is needed.
Joining a consultation from abroad
With the patient’s agreement, you can join a video or phone consultation from another country, so you hear the advice yourself. Tell the coordinator beforehand so the time works for everyone.
Arranging a home visit while you are away
If your relative is in Greater Cairo, HomeCure can arrange a doctor visit, nursing or tests at their home. Availability depends on the district and is confirmed by the coordinator. See home services.
What to prepare
- A list of your relative’s medicines.

- Your questions.
For older patients
- Phone consultations are available if video is difficult.
- Take your time. The doctor and coordinator will not rush you.
- A family member can sit in, with the patient’s agreement.
